PCI-42X/43X Digital Oscilloscopes

This product line consists of the PCI-421, PCI-422, PCI-423, and PCI-425 Single Channel Digital Oscilloscopes and the PCI-431, PCI-432, PCI-433, and PCI-435 Dual Channel Digital Oscilloscopes. Each oscilloscope in this product line has the capability to capture transient waveforms and also has an Equivalent Time Sampling (ETS) circuit that extends the equivalent sampling rate to 200 Gigasamples/second (GSPS) when acquiring repetitive signals. This extraordinary 5 picosecond equivalent sampling is unmatched by any card-based oscilloscope in the world and in most cases outperforms the sample rates found on box-based oscilloscopes costing 5 to 10 times more money. Each oscilloscope in this product line fits into the ISA expansion slot of a PC, and features seven vertical voltage ranges, AC/DC coupling, offset control, and timebases from 500 ps/div up to 200 ms/div. Bandwidths for the product line range from 100 MHz to 300 MHz. For more information, download the .pdf of the complete, detailed data sheet and specifications.

The dual channel PCI-431 Digital Oscilloscope uses a two-circuit board module to provide a rugged product that is easily inserted into a PC. Some of the applications for these sampling oscilloscopes include ATE, IEEE 181 Standard, Pulse Analysis, Automatic Test Equipment, Functional Test, In-Circuit Test, Telecom Test, DS3 Test, T1 Test, and E1 Test. These DSOs come with software that supports C++, C, Visual Basic, VB, ATEasy, HPVee, HP Vee, LabWindows, Lab Windows, LabWindows CVI, and Lab Windows CVI. This series of digital oscilloscopes is used in the US Navy’s AN/PSM-93(V), ACE Software, and ACE/NG.

Fastest ETS Sample Rate in the World - 300 MHz, 200 MHz, and 100 MHz Bandwidths - 200 GSPS Equivalent Sampling Rate - 7 Voltage Ranges

The BenchTop Lite user interface is provided with every product from PC Instruments. These products are sometimes referred to Analog Input Boards, Data Acquisition, Data Acquisition Card, Digital Storage Oscilloscope, Digital Storage Oscilloscopes, Digital Storeage Oscilloscopes, Digital Storage Oscilliscopes, Digital Storeage Oscilliscopes, Digitizing Oscilloscope, Digital Oscilloscope, A/D Card, or ADC Card. These digitizing oscilloscopes are classified as PC-based, PC-Based, PC Test, PC-based Test, PC-Based Test, PC based Test, PC Based Test, and are similar to VXI, VXI Instruments, VXI Test, and PCI Instruments. Some people in the industry refer to these products as Instruments-on-a-Card, Instrument-on-a-Card, Instruments on a Card, Instrument on a Card, Instrumentation, DAQ Card, Oscope, O'scope, Memory Oscilloscope, DMO, LapScope, CompuScope, PCIP-Scope, PCIP Scope, DAQScope, Scope, Scope Card, Scope Board, or DSO.

The PCI-431 is used by telecom test engineers to test the data recovery capability of a subsystem.

Test and production engineers use these oscilloscopes for measuring telecom signals (e.g. T1 and E1), mass-media signals (e.g. overwrite tests), power supply ripple, and wideband communication signals. Also, these oscilloscopes are excellent for the measuring instrument in frequency response analyzers, time-domain reflectometers, and impedance analyzers. And, these oscilloscopes can be found in ATE systems for automotive testing, medical testing, and component evaluation systems.

By combining the measurement performance of a box-based oscilloscope, with the system throughput and ease-of-test development of a card-based instrument, these oscilloscopes have been satisfying the requirements of test engineers and system integrators for many years. And, your test equipment budget will also benefit from the excellent performance/price ratio of these oscilloscopes.
